1945
Establishment – Şirikçioğlu Department Store

Founded by Hacı Mehmet Şirikçi under the name Şirikçioğlu Bonmarşesi Collective Company, our company began operating in the retail sector. Covering an area of 1,000 m² and offering all essential needs, the department store introduced what is now considered the modern retailing approach during those years and made significant contributions to the commercial vision of our city.

1972
Second Generation

The business was taken over by Vehbi Şirikçi and H. Ahmet Şirikçi, who continued its commercial activities through new lines of business including wholesale textiles, wholesale ready-to-wear clothing and wholesale durable consumer goods.

1986
Entry into the Agricultural Sector

With Ahmet Kamil Şirikçi joining the company as the third generation, the Group also entered the agricultural sector.

1992
Durable Consumer Goods

Our company decided to expand in the durable consumer goods sector.

1997
Vefa Pazarlama

Vefa Pazarlama Ltd. Şti. joined the Group.

2005
Corporate Transformation

To keep pace with changing conditions, VEFA Ltd. Şti. was transformed into VEFA Pazarlama A.Ş., while our Doğu Ticaret company was transformed into Doru Mobilya A.Ş.

2009
Livestock Farming – Doru Entegre

The Group entered the livestock farming sector under the name Doru Entegre A.Ş. Continuing its commitment to quality in meat and dairy production, the Group became Anatolia’s first EU-compliant farm.

2015
Fourth Generation – Doru Architecture

With the fourth generation joining the business, Doru Mimarlık A.Ş. was established. Continuing its efforts to enhance the city, Doru Architecture continues to deliver landmark projects.

2017
AGB – Energy

AGB Enerji Yatırımları İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. was established in Ankara in 2017 through a partnership of seven legal entities and three individuals to invest in renewable energy projects in Türkiye and abroad.

Having acquired Yumrutepe Enerji Üretim A.Ş. in 2017 and Başka Enerji Ticaret A.Ş. in 2022, our company generates electricity from hydropower and solar energy and continues to invest in renewable energy.

Technical Textiles

Having entered the technical textiles sector, our Group contributes to the industry through nonwoven fabric production.
